Acting of Mr. Verker's kind suggestion, here are some parts that we hopefully won't see in Supernova:

Bunk Beds (mech) (B 15, Con 20) This advanced device increases cargo capacity by 50% when carrying only colonists. It also reduces IS breeding by 50%. You can't get away with anything on the top bunk.

Stairmaster (mech) (Bio 15, El 8) This torture device makes your poor troops 20% more effective. My Legs!

Mr. Coffee Vacuum Edition (mechanical) (Bio3, Elec 7, Energy 2) This device adds +1 initiative, but reduces accuracy by 30%.

Black Hole Expresso Machine (mech) (B 5,El 12, En 4) This improved coffee machine adds +3 init, but reduces acc by 50%

Wormhole Roasted Turkish Coffee (mech) (B 12, El 14, Pr 17) This ultimate coffee dispenser adds +5 init at the cost of 70% of acc.

Stars! 2 LAN (elec) (El 5) Dedicated strategy gaming net. Ships crews become very strategically minded (+1 init), but must be torn away from the game on the first round of battle. (-4 init the first round.) Still popular in the 3400's.

Supernova LAN (elec) (El 14) New edition is even more addictive and informative. +2/-8. Didn't think it would take this long, did you?

Apocalypse LAN (elec) (El 23) Latest in strategy gaming. +3/-12. Originally scheduled for release in 3455, but took a little longer.

Cream Pie Launcher (R5 missile) (B 5, W 5, P 5) This extremely cheap weapon does little damage, but annoys the heck out of the opposition. Doubles the "attractiveness" of this ship. SPLAT.

Mooner (R6 missile) (El 10, W 15, P 10) Moon your enemies at long range. Quadruple attractiveness. Didja see the look on their faces?

Spammer (R8 missile) (B 15, El 1, W22) All enemy ships try to kill ships armed with this weapon first. Make Boranium fast!

Bionic Armor (arm) (El 15, C15) This extremely strong armor halves the battle speed of your ship, but comes with very cool sound effects. Go Steve.

Blue Suede Shield (shield) (En 12, B 2) This shield is ineffective against R1 and R0 weapons. Don't step on it.

White Star 10 (engine) (Prop 18) Like the Trans Star 10, but takes x5 damage from mines. Unsinkable, NOT.

Hamster Wheel (orbital) (B 15, P19) Efficient, but slow mass driver. Acute hamster senses also help detect spies with starbase sabotage missions. Why fling packets when you can fling pellets?

Remote Control (R N beam weapon) (El N/10, W N/10) Turns off targeted ships battle computers. Must have one RC per init point lost. I wanna watch GNN!

Metal Detector (Scanner) (El 13) Allows crews to prospect for small change on asteroids when off duty. If the ship doesn't move, no maintenance. Drat, another bottle cap.
